Drystore Project

Area

2000 m²

Built with the requirements of the future tenant forefront this project needed a constructed programme sympathetic to the ongoing operations on the rest of the site, specifically trucks to access existing warehouse.

The staging had to accommodate daily variations on other site activity, including multiple truck movements per day.  This required minimising of the construction lay down area as well as reducing other site disturbance.

Logistical challenges for delivery were met by HML’s vertical integration; fabrication was aligned to ensure paint and site delivery were just in time. When client timetables shifted the control of delivery offered by HML having its own vehicle fleet, drivers and load pilots meant that quick changes could be made negating both client and construction disruptions.
